With only a single nomination for each office, no elections were needed. There was a round of applause for our new officers.

Bob spoke at more length on the Southern Boone County Karst Team.  The team has submitted a grant proposal focusing on land-use planning and water quality restoration in the Bonne Femme and Little Bonne Femme watersheds. The Boone County Commission will be the grant sponsor. If funded, this project will call for about 20 hours of activities per month (for a total of 240 hours), in Hunter's Cave, the Devil's Ice Box and other caves in the area; most of the time will be spent on Stream Team activities, and mapping and restoration in Hunter's. Bob passed a letter of intent of participation around, and all  present approved.
