Foresight
The Foresight is a
quarterly journal that documents the
activities of the Grotto. It includes meeting minutes, cave reports,
and other newsworthy events or activites at the local, regional and/or
national levels. Also included in the journal may be scientific
reports, fictional stories, product reviews, and cartoons. All members
are encouraged to submit trip reports and
all other cave related news and events for inclusion. Mail submissions,
requests, etc. to the editor.
Chouteau News
The
Chouteau News is the Grotto's monthly newsletter.
The newsletter exists to inform members of future and recent events, as
well as report on recent developments and news. Members are encouraged
to report on activity and send updates, articles and news for
inclusion. The published version of the newsletter is mailed to members
and includes photographs and graphics unavailable in the text version.
A members manual is printed periodically
(as needed) as a special edition of the Foresight. It contains the Constitution and
information on cave safety, ethics, and conservation. The newest
edition will also contain email addresses and addresses of pertinent
internet sites. The complete membership list is also included.
